City of Carmel by the Sea

This file needs to be extracted to the C: drive on each person's computer.  The new file will need to overwrite the file with the same name in their "C:\Planit" folder.

You would need local administrator privileges to be able to do this.  Not everyone has those.

\\cityfs\Shared\DATA\Information Technology\PlanIT_2018\PlanIt.zip

If people double click it they should make it look like the attached image, ie, extract the included file to 

C:\PlanIt

It should overwrite the file in that folder.  Their existing shortcuts will continue to work or they can click on the PlanIT database file in the "c:\PlanIT" folder.

The new file will also be called "PlanIt2000.mdb"
